A man from Bukedea who was trending for selling his motorbike to gamble has finally recovered his money through betting and bought a taxi.
Isaac Olokojo, a resident of Aligoi in Kachumbala county sold his only source of income after allegedly getting a vision from God to stake anything that he would want to stake.
He sold his motorcycle at Shs3.5m and staked all on Bayern to win against Atletico Madrid in a champions League game, however, the game ended in what netizens say ‘premium tears’.
The game ended in a 1-all draw.

Olokojo, was later picked up by the Uganda Bettors Association who gave him a relief of Shs500,000 and initiated him into the association.
He was given ‘a VVIP special treat’ and won several tickets. Since winning his first ticket, he thought of quitting but the winning was irresistible and he kept on collecting almost every week.
Despite having losing tickets, his winning record was classic.
“I lost several times and decided to stop betting even when these guys were sending me games and calling me to bet. I ignored them but they kept me on pressure asking me to at least have hope that the jack pot is about to be hit. So, for the past few weeks, I have been doing well, winning a lot that has changed my life drastically. I bought a second-hand taxi on Monday and it will have Uganda Bettors Association sticker. I am out of words but these guys have changed my life,” he said in a telephone interview with this reporter.
He also added that before they gave him games, they tell him that betting is the game of luck and with the Uganda Bettors Association, there luck is always at 95% and any time you bet, your hopes are high.

When contacted for a comment, the Ag, Chairperson of UBA said that betting with them has become so easy in a way that, gamblers no longer have to scratch their heads on what team or option to bet on.
He says that packages with high winning chances have helped punters to regain all they have lost in betting.
According to him, VVIP package is always reserved for big investors who want to make big profits from low risk odds. Backroom is a package with ODDS ranging from 300-1000 and its where 90% of their subscribers fall.
He also asked those who want to join the association to join with two things in mind, there are good days and bad days in gambling. Not every day is a party day adding that most people who want to join ask for fixed games which don’t exist.
“We have had so many people who always ask us for what they call ‘SURE WINS or FIXED GAMES’, we don’t do that and perhaps if those sure wins existed, then everyone would be rich. However, we have won more than we have lost ever since we launched the association,” he said.
