Agago: Man Arrested for Killing own Brother

Police in Agago district is holding a Man only identified as Philip Oneka, 21 for killing his own brother.

The incident happened on Tuesday from Guda  Parish, Wol town Council in Agago district and the matter was reported to Police by Erona Ayaa, mother to the two brothers.

It is alleged that the deceased bought his cows and gave his brother Oneka to take care of the cows on condition that one time he would be given one of the cows in appreciation.

Oneka recently reportedly bought some Pigs and the deceased wanted to claim them yet he has never given his cows to the Oneka as earlier on agreed.

On Tuesday,Oneka reportedly got very angry after Ojok used his timber to roof his house without his consent.

Oneka reportedly got very annoyed and shot dead Ojok on the chest with a bow and arrow.

Jimmy Patrick Okema, Aswa regional Police public relation Officer for Aswa region confirmed this reporg saying that the case has been registered under Ref: 03/29/09/2020

Okema also confirmed that the Suspect is currently being detained at Wol Police post pending investigation.

Okema also revealed that a 40 year Old Man in Pader district identified as Richard Anywar has committed suicide after a domestic quarrel with his wife.

The case was reported by the wife identified as Concy Abalo 38, a resident of Ngooto parish, Atanga sub-county in Pader district

Anywar has reportedly been staying with his wife at his in-laws place after the two had separated.

On the fateful day, he came back home drunk and asked his wife for Money,only to be told that there was no money.

Anywar went to the bush and drunk a chemical used for spraying crops.

He was rushed to a health facility at Lacekocot Trading center but he later died.

The case has been registered under CRB 40/2020.
