Charles Otim aka Sipapa in the company of UPDF soldiers on Thursday afternoon opened fire at Bobi Wine protestors who had made road blocks in Najjera.
The crowds who were chanting the People Power slogan were dispersed by live bullets fired by Sipapa and his team plus some army officers.
According to eyewitnesses, Sipapa also grabbed phones from whoever had it at hand to avoid being recorded. He was also seen slapping someone who was recording him and took his phone.
Chaos across the country by NUP supporters are not stopping as they demand for the release of their leader, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine who was arrested on Wednesday morning in Luuka for violating the COVID-19 guidelines.
