Forum for Democratic Change – FDC presidential candidate, Eng. Patrick Amuriat Oboi on Tuesday afternoon ‘pulled the unbelievable by police’ after he sneaked into Bukedea Town to address his supporters.

Amuriat was early in the day blocked from accessing Bukedea town and was directed to go to Malera Sub-County. Police would later block any entrance leading to Bukedea town, however, the village boy pulled his long term village tactics to sneak into the town and address his waiting, cheering supporters.

While addressing the excited supporters, Amuriat asked his supporters to forgive him for failing to turn up on Monday, 28th December 2020.

Amuriat was scheduled to appear in Bukedea on Monday, however, Amuriat was hospitalised after being pepper-sprayed by police.

Amuriat was heading to Tororo district through Bugiri district when police officers intercepted him in Buwaya village and blocked him from proceeding with today’s campaign program.

Upon appearing in the middle of Bukedea town like ‘Nigerian Spirits,’ the Regional Police Commander Eastern Region, Max Ogwal said that he was shocked to see Amuriat addressing his supporters in town and had to allow him to proceed with his activity.
