Police in Bukedea have arrested a man for allegedly slaughtering his daughter after defiling her.
He has been identified as David Onyang, a resident of Kalapata village, Kachumbala parish in Kachumbala Sub County.
The incident happened yesterday’s night after he reportedly defiled the 9-year-old Angela Imuria.
Simon Mapuka the crime preventer Kachumbala says he got information that Onyang haw cut off the daughter’s head, upon reaching they found the body of the child lying lifeless in the house and a machete was found at the scene soaked with blood.
Its also alleged that his frastuation is mixed by how his young brother married his wife, a one Ademun.
Eye witnesses say that when they reached the scene, they found that Onyang was missing and they had to search for him till they arrested him.
Deborah Ademun the wife to Onyanga said that she broke off from the marriage and the brother to Onyang identified as Denis Omusek who is on run took her but the cause of Onyang cutting is not known.
Joseph Esoko the police crime intelligence officer confirmed the incident and said police have arrested both Onyang and Ademun and they were taken to Bukedea central police station.
The body of the deceased has been taken to Bukedea Health Centre mortuary for postmortem.
