Vocal government mouthpiece Ofwono Opondo, who is the Executive Director of the Uganda Media Centre, is battling for his life and needs your prayer.
According to reports, Opondo has for a while been bedridden at Nakasero Hospital for several days, where he is battling a life-threatening illness including diabetes.
Although Opondo had decided to suffer in silence by keeping the public out of his anguish, his current situation was unearthed by some of his friends who visited him over the weekend.
According to pictures share by Kin Karisa, the Next Media boss which have since gone viral on social media, Opondo, who is a staunch National Resistance Movement (NRM) cadres, looks so frail and has drastically lost weight, an indication that he is not well at all.
We have since established that Karis and team decided to go visit Opondo in hospital after realising that he had spent several days without appearing at NBS TV, where he usually engages in political talk-shows.
Apart from Karisa and team, other people who visited Opondo include; Mose Byaruhanga, the Senior Presidential Adviser on political Affairs, Brig. Gen. Richard Karemire, who is former UPDF mouthpiece, among others.
However, Opondo’s family members have since remained tight-lipped about the actual illness that is slowly and steadily eating him away.
