Last Sunday was yet another memorable day in the event’s scene in Uganda as the biggest family all day picnic event Ice cream and cake festival returned with its 4th edition . Its needless to mention the fact that all roads led to the Uganda Museum Sunday May 14 for it came back, bigger and better.

The event was full of life as revelers started flocking the venue as early as 2pm, with kids wearing smiles on their faces because there was more than enough for them to enjoy, ranging from the bouncing castles to the different cake and ice cream flavors one can ever get in the Country.

Some of the revelers who turned up for the event.

However, most revelers highlighted that the festival was highly a swangz Avenue music label affair as all the line-up of singers came from those signed to it including; Zafaran, Elijah Kitaka, Vinka and Azawi, who all put up amazing performances.

The show started off with music performances from Zafaran, Elijah Kitaka, Vinka and the ‘My Year’ hit-maker Azawi and it was indeed an incredible event.

After Elijah had done his best, Vinka embraced the stage at 20:05pm with her By the Way hit song before she got inconvenienced with the sound that disturbed for about 10 minutes and even when it was rectified and after doing one, two and three of her songs, the power went off again for close to 15minutes again but Vinka is soo resilient and patient that she never left the stage and waited for it to be rectified again and she would later on finish with her performance of ‘Bailando’ among other songs that sent her fans and music lovers on a frenzy.

It was then time for the ‘My Year’ songstress to lit up Uganda Museum with and engaging performance which she really did incredibly well. Stepping on stage at exactly 21:14 pm, the singer made sure she had to involve the kids who were still around at that time and requested them to dance to some of her tunes including ‘Slow Dancing’ and ‘10 over 10’ and it all went on well with the kids dancing uniformly as if they were on a camp, purposely training for that specific show.

From ‘Quinamino’ to ‘My year,’ all the way to ‘Majje’ to ‘10 over 10,’ ‘Azawi’ did not disappoint and left revelers yarning for more of her performance.

The event calmly came to a stop at around 22:50 pm with revelers not complaining for they were treated right the way they had expected.
