The National Unity Platform – NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has used his court hearing to hit out at President Yowerrti Museveni – saying he should be in the dock for murdering innocent civilians.
Police say 38 people died in the violence as security forces responded to the protests triggered by Bobi Wine’s arrest on Wednesday.
“Your Honour this case should not be Uganda Vs Kyagulanyi It should be Uganda Vs Museveni. It should be him in this dock coz he has killed many Ugandans… I have committed no crime…”
Bobi Wine has also been granted a non cash bail by the Iganga Grade One Magistrates Court.
