All is set for the National National Resistance Movement (NRM) Electoral commission to declare results for the Mbale Woman MP party flag bearer Wednesday 9.
The results are expected to be announced by Dr Tanga Odoi,Chairman NRM Electoral commission at the party headquarters in Nakasero, Kampala.
Following the saga that happened during the just concluded party primaries,the results of the the Mbale City Woman MP were referred to the chairperson of the party’s electoral commission for the purposes of thorough scrutiny.
Last Friday,Boniface Wamunga, the district NRM returning officer, failed to declare the winner between two candidates Connie Galiwango, the incumbent woman MP and Lydia Wanyoto, the chairperson of the NRM Women League following claims from both candidates’ supporters that their candidates won.
This resulted the party to hault the declaration of the results and thus taken to the party Electoral commision head offices where the results would later be announced.
