REVEALED: Why Security Forces Raided NUP Head Offices in Kamwokya
The security officers led by the Uganda Police Force Wednesday raided National Unity Platform (NUP) headquarters in Kamwokya with the help of the Army.
Kampala Sqoop is reliably informed that the security personnel wanted to know what was happening inside the offices.
Sources close to NUP told Kampala Sqoop that Bobi Wine had earlier on hosted a meeting with the party top names,forging a way forward to strengthen the party country wide activities.
Another source told Kampala Sqoop that the officers in uniform;Police and the Army after conducting a search,took all nomination materials including T-shirts,berets ,banners and badges among others.
It is believed that the Forces are enforcing on NUP’s red beret ban which Bobi Wine and his members have continued to defy on grounds that it is not any way contradicting with the Military’s.
