Security forces are heavly deployed at the Forum for Democratic Change party headquarters in Najjanankumbi a day to the nomination of their flag bearer Eng. Patrick Amuriat.
This follows reports of a planned procession as Amuriat heads for nomination.
So far, the electoral commission has nominated two candidates including incumbent Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Kaguta Museveni and Gen. Lt. (Rtd) Henry Tumukunde.
