Presidential Aspirant, John Katumba’s nomination has hit a snag over his failure to produce proof of payment for the Shs20 Million nomination fees required by the electoral commission.
“Because you have no proof of payment of the Ushs 20m fee, we can’t proceed to have you nominated,” Justice Simon Byabakama to Katumba.
So far, the electoral commission has nominated two candidates including incumbent Yoweri Tiburabwa Kaguta Museveni and Rt. Lt. Gen. Henry Tumukunde.
