Through his social media platform, in what seemed to be a follow up of what happened in the just concluded youth elections, singer Edirisa Musuuza alias Eddy Kenzo revealed how the National Resistance Movement has most numbers amongst the youths.
The singer alleged that the youth elections that were held on Monday exposed that Kyagulanyi’s support is only reflected on social media but on ground as youths are voting in favor of President Museveni’s National Resistance Movement (NRM).
On Tuesday evening, Eddy Kenzo through his Facebook page revealed how the NRM has the “strength in numbers”. He wrote saying that social media popularity is “not a reflection of real life support”.
“In this day and age of social media and the enigmatic youth vote (is it below 25 or 35) it is humbling to accept that likes and retweets are not a reflection of real-life support. The youth elections that took place this week are a reminder of the difference between fact and fiction, as the saying goes: men lie, women lie but numbers don’t lie.” Kenzo posted.
In the same post, the Big Talent singer noted how the NRM party swept most votes in the recently held Youth Elections, with most numbers in Makindye, Rubaga, Kamwokya, Nakawa and Kampala Central.
After Kenzo’s post, the self-styled Star Boss, Big Eye ran to his Facebook account and countered his former boss’ allegations by sharing his own results from the youths elections showing Kyagulanyi’s National Unity Platform dominance calling Kenzo’s results edited.
Big Muzik CEO wrote down other results which he claimed were from the same parishes Kenzo posted erlier on. He referred to his results as “the truth”.
“We don’t tolerate anything like editing results, “THE TRUTH IS HERE,” the post that was accompanied by poll result statistics from Makindye parish read.
Big Eye deserted the NRM party a few months back and has been praising the party’s competitors.
The artist has recently been vocal and threatening to sue the ruling party for failing to pay him money for the services he rendered them during the 2016 general campaigns.
In the recent days, the two artists have been under public scrutiny over their political affiliations and confused on which political party to side with but the celebrated BET award winner always maintained his stand of not being partisan.
