‘Uganda Olemwa’ hit-maker thrown onto Police truck like a chicken thief!

Big Music Star Boss, Big Eye has been arrested at National Theatre.

Big Eye, real names Ibrahim Mayanja, was seen interchanging words with Police officers as he was thrown onto a Police truck.

The singer, who’s also the Uganda Musician’s Association treasurer was understood to have been leading a protest following the association’s delayed elections.

He had earlier showed discontentment with the government meddling in UMA’s election process.

Apparently, the UMA Elections that were earlier planned for today (28th June) were postponed till further notice by government – reffering to a letter from the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social development.

However, the actual reason of Big Eye’s arrest is yet to be announced by Police.

Regardless, it looks like he’ll have to spend the night behind bars as even during the arrest, he assaulted a police officer who he repeatedly abused and even intended to kick.

Recently, the UMA treasurer was also put on the spot for ‘stealing’ the associations UGX 5M.
