Senior Presidential Advisor in charge of Special Operations, Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has warned 2021 presidential candidate Robert Sentamu Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine to stop intimidating the security forces.
“I told you my young brother, that you can NEVER intimidate us. We are much stronger than you can ever imagine to be. If you want to fight we will simply defeat you. We want peace! But if you attempt to fight us then Bring it on,” Gen. Muhoozi said in a tweet on Tuesday shortly after Bobi Wine’s arrest.
He also warned anyone planning to destabilize Uganda to stop doing so because it will not bear fruit.
“Those who think they can use the military against the country are daydreaming!” said Kainerugaba in a Tweet on Tuesday.
He said President Museveni remains an inspirational figure for the men in uniform.
“There is no soldier in the UPDF who does not look up to Mzee Museveni as a father, many consider him a grandfather,” said Kainerugaba.
