Nigeria: A 27 years old teacher Mathew Adebayo, was Friday, arrested for defiling a 17 years old student in Sango, Ogun State.
Nigeria Police Force, Sango Division, made the arrest after an official report by the school proprietors.
The suspect was alleged to have been sleeping with the 17-year-old for over a year before secrets were spilled.
The SS3 student alleged that the suspect has been raping him repeatedly since the resumption of the school in preparation for the WAEC examination.
Also, the proprietors stated further that the said teacher intimidated the victim by telling him that he will not pass the WAEC exams, if he didn’t allow her to have sex with him.

When the victim could no longer bear the sexual assault of the randy teacher, he decided to inform the proprietors.
Upon the report, the DPO Sango Division CSP Godwin Idehai, detailed his detectives to the scene where the suspect was promptly arrested.
She has since then made a confessional statement admitting the commission of the crime. The victim has been taken to hospital for medical attention.
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi has confirmed the arrest. Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police CP Edward A. Ajogun has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to the Anti Human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and prosecution.
